WDIM 331 - Final Project

At the end of the course you will be required to design your own database project. This should be a complex database problem involving multiple related tables.  You might use an imaginary company, a personal project, or it could be a solution for an existing organization.

NOTE:  This must be a website or web-based application of some kind.  Create a detailed wireframe of the website.  Spell out fields that might be on forms, and include callouts or sample content text in the wireframe. This will guide your work on the database structure and the queries that you write.

1. Describe on paper the needs of the organization.
2. Create an E-R Diagram
3. Database must be normalized to 4th Normal form.
4. Build the actual database.  Include 20-30 sample records to illustrate the relationships and queries.  The final database can be created in Access or MySQL. 
5. Turn in the SQL statements to create the database and insert the records  (paper document). 
6. Turn in the SQL query examples with results of the queries.  These should include:

• 5 different select statements
• 3 different Join queries
• 2 update queries
• 1 delete query
