Drupal Websites Portfolio

This new site launch involved a complete redesign, an update to Drupal 10 from an older D7 site, updating custom code, and integration with a SQL server member database. The site uses push and pull to send member data about user accounts, course and event registrations, and other data to their back-end SQL server application.  

ArtSites is a project created and designed by Wheelercreek Studio Inc., as a service provided to artists and photographers looking for a website for their art. ArtSites is a multisite Drupal installation, and makes use of Drupal Commerce to power the online store. Artists have configuration options over the themes, to select colors and fonts.  They can upload up to 1000 art products (limited by the plan they select), and have unlimited pages, a blog, contact form, and everything else they need to run an art business.

This academic center had a fractured website running in Wordpress, with 50 years worth of articles and research that they wanted to move into Drupal. The content wasn't structured (as WP isn't set up for that), so in addition to content migration, we also wanted to separate out the various types of content for easier site management, user experience, and future scalability. We wanted users to be able to easily search the articles, the research, and find articles, books, blog posts, or videos. 

A national organization of lighthouse enthusiasts. USLHS.org has educational resources, historical information, and an online store for purchasing membership to the society, and lighthouse memorabilia. We have been working with the USLHS for several years now.

We’ve also worked with the USLHS to develop an online research catalog:  archives.uslhs.org.  Here a historian can find all kinds of useful information about lighthouses and the people who worked in them over the past 200 years.

Founded in 1974, Oregon Wild has been instrumental in securing permanent legislative protection for some of Oregon's most precious landscapes, including nearly 1.7 million acres of Wilderness, 95,000 acres of forests in Bull Run/Little Sandy watersheds (to safeguard the quality of Portland's water supply) and almost 1,800 miles of Wild & Scenic Rivers. 

The Chess for Success organization runs the scholastic chess tournaments in Oregon and sponsors chess clubs at numerous local schools. Their mission is "to help children develop skills for success in school and life through learning chess".  As chess lovers, we had to take this project on! 

The task was to handle both design (including logo design) and website development for this international law firm. We built their new website in Drupal 8.  The firm handle's patent law, and works activitely in both the U.S. and Japan.  This fully-responsive website is presented in both English and Japanese.  Drupal's language tools were an excellent help here! 

Custom Drupal 8 website designed for a local Portland plumbing company.  ProDrain was in dire need of a solid and clean professional website they could manage without headaches.  This site is responsive and mobile-friendly. They have service pages in multiple categories, a blog, and a contact page. 

SSN is a conservative online Newspaper based in Florida.  We designed and built this Drupal 7 site, which makes use of workflow modules that allow reporters to post daily stories, and editors to approve and publish them.  There are also several dynamic news feeds pulled in, along with Twitter, FB, and other third-party apps.   This was an interesting design challenge, to organize their content and help them streamline their very cluttered and disorganized previous version. 

Onvia is a high-profile company located in downtown Seattle. They are publicly owned and listed on the NASDAQ. Their previous site did not perform well in search engines, and they were looking for a cleaner design along with much better performance in both speed and search engine visibility.
